Mrs Bramble is based between the sea and the South Downs in sunny (sometimes) West Sussex. She is interested in a lot of creative pursuits but her biggest love is sewing.
In February 2015 Mrs Bramble left her job in the library service to concentrate on making gifts and accessories to sell. She now runs a shop in Worthing, West Sussex and sells handmade items by a variety of local makers. It’s also the place to go for painted furniture, vintage homeware and vintage furniture and accessoriess.
The Bramble household includes a Mr B, two teenage boys, two adorable dogs and one grumpy cat.
Mrs B loves to buy fabric but is not so good at parting with it and has a passion for vintage buttons and haberdashery, again she is loathe to part with any of it! Another hobby (no money to be made there) is running craft fairs. Oh,and she sometimes writes a blog.
She would genuinly love to hear from you.
Our shop in Portland Square is just off the main shopping area, Montague Street (behind Boots) in Worthing, a beautiful seaside town in West Sussex. Here we have an eclectic and ever changing range of handmade gifts and interior accessories, as well as vintage and small items of hand painted furniture.
All the handmade items are made in West Sussex, and currently within 5 miles of Worthing itself. Just about all of our artisans can, and enjoy, making orders to customers specification. Just ask!
We pride ourselves on giving a friendly and warm welcome. We’d love you to come and visit!
We sell photography by Beneath the Boughs, printed art by Rosemary Jones, Small World art by Handmade in Worthing, crochet by Rachel’s Wreaths and Gifts, felt creations by Pip’s Place, pebble art pictures by Pebble Joan, ceramic tags and art by West of Brighton and more!
